November 16,1998 Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi inspects Abhyasa.
December 5, 1998 Commissioning of Solar water heating systems.
January 1, 1999 Abhyasa is affiliated to the Council for ICSE.
January 12, 1999 Third Cultural Nite of Abhyasa celebrated. Chief guest :

  • Third Valedictory function to be organized at the end of the academic year. Prizes for winners in as many as 100 activities, at school throughout the academic year- awarded to all students.
  • Chief guest : Smt. J. Geetha Reddy , A.P. Mahila Congress president and ex- minister.
  • First all-rounder gold medal instituted by the society president Mr.K.Rangadass awarded to Master Chetan Raman (class IX-1999) for all-round excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities, games and sports, discipline, leadership qualities.

  • Construction of the administrative building and the girl's dormitory commences.
