HORLICKS ACTIVITY :
Abhyasa students have done it this time – OVERALL CHAMPIONS amongst 20 Schools, 5000 participants and 25 activities.
Abhyasa students snatched the TALLER, STRONGER, SHARPER, HORLICKS CHAMPIONSHIP at the ACTIVITY – 2007.

Co-Curricular Activities 2006-2007
HORLICKS ACTIVITY :
A national event, this event was conducted on 24th & 25th of August, 2006 at Sri Sathya Sai Nigamagamam, Hyderabad weighing for positions in nearly 20 different varieties of competitions.
For Abhyasa this year's activity was special for two main reasons –
One: the students went to the events absolutely unprepared as they were busy studying for their II Cycle Tests and,
Second: without preparation, participating only in a few events, Abhyasa has bagged the Runner-up position in the overall performance.
Abhyasa has totally bagged 8 first positions and 8 second positions out of 20 competitions, apart from

- The Best Placard Award
- The overall runner-up

1.HORLICKS ACTIVITY – 2005
Out of 53 schools which participated in 35 different varieties of competitions ranging from Fusion dance photography, short play, essay writing, Bindi design, Mehendi Design, Painting, Drawing, Sketching, Calligraphy and so on, Abhyasa made its mark in the following fields:

Master Preetam Baruah Class X – 1st place - Regional Language Essay writing Competition
Master Bhagwan Reddy class X 1st place - Calligraphy
Master Amar Jyothi Sonowal class X 1st place - Pot painting
a) Master Sanjay Swamy class XII – 2nd place – in category – A
b) Master M. Karthik of class IX – 2nd place – in category – B - Flower Arrangement
Master Sanjay Swamy class XII – 3rd place - The Indian Style Act
The theme 'Indian Fashion stands tall in the world' won a special jury award for its excellent concept, costumes, choreography and co-ordination. - In the Wiz kids Activity, where the competence and character of a child is tested, Abhyasites Ms.Samhita and Master Mangesh Joshi of class VII could qualify in the initial rounds to enter the prestigious finals.
- The most important of all, the school received the Best Teacher Co-Ordinator Award for its meticulous planning and implementation of student training, transport & participation in the events. Being at the venue on time with around 150 students each day despite the distance of 60 kms !

II. ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION :
Conducted by St. Ann's Girls High School, Secunderabad.

III. HINDU YOUNG WORLD QUIZ :
Conducted by the 'The Hindu' at Secunderabad. Abhyasa Team comprising of Master Aditya Deshbandhu (Class XI) and Adarsh Devineni (Class XII) was adjudged with the title, "Second Best Out Station Team" out of 114 participating teams.

SENIOR LEVEL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION: Conducted by Nachiketa Tapovan, Hyderabad
1st Position – Ajinkya Deshmukh (Class X)
2nd Position – Preetam Baruah (Class IX)
PAINTING COMPETITIONS: Conducted by Nachiketa Tapovan, Hyderabad
1st Position – Apoorv V (Class VII) *
1st Position – Aakash Deshmukh (Class VII) *
(There was a tie and Abhyasites bagged both the 1st Positions)
Abhyasa won The Best School Award in the field of Talent Search for the year 2004 from Nachiketa Tapovan, Hyderabad.
