This year Abhyasites not only surpassed earlier achievements, but also proved that Abhyasa's abilities and will power have grown stronger.

Apart from the above and the ISC overall championship, Abhyasite M. BADRINATH of class XII bagged the Individual Championship for his achievements in Swimming and ISC Basket Ball team received Runners up trophy.

A team of 5 in Basket Ball, 13 in Swimming and 6 in Athletics represented Andhra Pradesh, from 'Abhyasa' at the National Level Competitions held at Allahabad and Hyderabad.

Abhyasa scored 59 points and stood as the Overall Champions in Senior Boys category in Swimming.

The above achievements of Abhyasa at the A.P Regional ISC and ICSE Sports Meet, impressed the selectors and a total number of 24 students for Basket ball, Swimming and Athletics, were selected from Abhyasa alone for the National ICSE and ISC Sports Meet to be held at Mysore and Kerala.
National ICSE AND ISC Swimming competition: At the National ICSE AND ISC Swimming competition held at Mysore on 29th and 30th September three medals were won by the Abhyasa students. The winners are;
1. M. Karthik of class XI won a Bronze medal in the event of 100m Butterfly stroke.
2. Arshab Kumar Agawal of class XII won a Bronze medal in the event of 100m Back stroke.
3. Salman Abdul Rehman of class XI won a Silver medal in the event of 100m Back stroke.
Games & Sports : 2006-2007
At the Chief Minister's Cup Swimming Competitions conducted by Medak District Sports Authority on 7th July, Abhyasa scored 10 out of 10. All the 10 members who participated were selected for the State level competitions.
At the State level competitions held at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad, between 30.09.06 and 04.10.06, Sagar Devikar of class VIII won Bronze medal in the 50 mtrs. Butterfly event.
ICSE & ISC A.P. Regional Sports Meet:
ICSE & ISC A.P. Regional Sports Meet was held at the Railway Grounds, Hyderabad between 12th & 14th October 2006. Abhyasites achieved a total of 7 gold, 5 Silver and 18 Bronze medals, as never before. The details are as below:

A 14 member contingent represented Andhra Pradesh at the ICSE & ISC National Sports Meet held at Rajkot, Gujarat, between 10th and 12th of November, 2006.
1. Pooja Puglia (Class XII) Bronze medal 3km walk.
2. The A.P. Senior Boys Basket Ball Team won the championship with Nikhil Salve of Abhyasa as the major contributor.
3. Sanjana Jadhav from the Junior girls Basket Ball team also played her part in taking the team to the Runner-up level.
4. Ajinkya Daware and G. Vasista were a part of the Brozne medal winning team for Andhra Pradesh in the 4×100mts swimming relay team.

Games & Sports : 2003-2004
Abhyasa carved a niche for itself in the sports arena, by playing host for the A.P. State Regional ISC & ICSE Sports Meet '2003 in which around 50 schools from all over Andhra Pradesh participated. Abhyasa was lauded not only for the fair conduct of the sports meet but also setting a record with the least expenditure incurred on the event with its strict financial discipline.
